I was just trying to get some help on a tax issue based on my online tax filing with H&R Block and they completely shut me down before I could even get an answer!!!! Narwaana or whatever her name was is the guilty one...

I had been going to H&R Block for at least 15+ years. And for most of them, never an issue. I don't know what has happened in the last 4-5 years at H&R Block, but this year I am paying 2,000.00 to CRA due to mismanagement of my taxes being done by H&R Block for that last few years. I am beyond words. I will not be attending this company again this year or any year hereafter for any of my tax needs. From this kind of mess up I could have just done them myself and made a wish over them that I got it right. I would amount to the same quality of care.

HR Block just leaves you hanging. Stay away! Used HR Block Premium online $200....The Tax Preparer made mistakes to my 2019 Return...Ive called several times to Amend my Return and keep getting the run around?!...They sent me the HR Block Download software but that wont work with an Online Return?!. So Frustrating!! So im stuck trying to figure it out on my own! I switched to the other popular online tax prep and thats much better.

If this "service" could receive ZERO stars, I would rate that. I submitted all my documents in MAY 2022-- 6 months later-- Still no response to my messages-- I had been in correspondence with the preparer-- He only provided excuse after excuse as to why my preparation was not finished. At first, I was understanding as he said he was out of office for medical reasons- FIne- SURE- why not pass the duty off to someone who was NOT out of office for more than one month-- Then- he said he was going to pass it off to someone else. Which he did not, clearly, because it is now 4 months after he said was going to pass it on to someone else, and that still didnt happen

I thought it would be better to have a Tax Pro do my taxes for me this year. I was wrong. The Tax Pro wasn't thorough and disregarded an issue I brought up to her four times. Instead of getting a refund, I ended up paying $3200 in taxes. I didn't have a chance to review my tax return for a while after it was submitted. I researched what I needed to do, amended my taxes and filed again. I contacted customer service and even though my case was escalated, no one followed up with me after that call or an online submission.

I have used H&R block for about 8 years when I worked with a competent and kind accountant Jeannette in Franklin Ma. It was been ok but gone down hill this last year. Mutiple mistakes on my taxes and my husband and I bought peace of mind extra coverage and am trying to connect with an accountant but all the offices around me are only open once a week and no one can follow up with me. I am getting frustrated and so dissapointed in H&R block. If a manger would take over my case and follow up on my 2 cases of errors my faith may be restored.

Worst Tax experience EVER!! Single Mom, make $20,000, paid $500 to H&R Block in March. August I got a letter WITH 4 BOXES CHECKED. 4 mistakes!!! 4 f’ups that I have to fix. Or I can pay them again and maybe they’ll fix it. WTT!?! H&R Block SUCKS!!!

Zero stars would be a better rating. Customer service is terrible, even when using one of their paid tax pros. Never again. Save yourself grief and use another service. Their online dashboard is terrible; keeps telling me to do things that have already been done. I want to determine how to get the so called tax pro payment refunded.

Program per IRS agent miss-calculated the taxable portion of the social security payment. Also, error check has flaw in that it allows submission of Form 8888 with a refund due different from that on Form 1040.

My wife and I had our annual tax return done by Mohammad in Toronto, and we are extremely happy
With him completing it in a very short time and our communication with him during the process was excellent. He is highly recommended by us!
